Just over 3 weeks ago, I began following ‘Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight’ by Joel Marion. And today I want to update everyone on my progress and what I am loving so far.
When I first started my journey I mentioned in my first post about the program, that while I have a pretty hefty weight loss goal that I am looking to slay, my other main goals are to gain more energy to be even more present with my children and overall to boost my metabolism. And three weeks in I am loving how I am feeling! In one of my most recent posts, I mentioned that one of my favorite things about the plan is that you don’t have to cut corners when it comes to carbs and even now, I am loving the flexibility that I have with the eating plans.

And three weeks later, i’m still loving all of the choices that I have. Meal planning and even selecting last minute meal options have been a breeze using the book as a guide. I love how easy it is to create meal options without having to eat the same foods for prolonged periods of time.
My favorite things right now…
The food list color coded by green, yellow, and red makes it possible to create meal combinations that my family will love too. I know what foods to stay away from. But the list of approved foods is full of tons of options to choose from. That’s the key to never getting bored with diets.
In addition, I love the Recipe Ideas that are covered in the second half of the book. I like to keep my meals simple. However, having a mini cookbook as a part of the plan, makes it easy to modify recipes to fit my personal tastes without going off the wagon. One of my favorites right now is the Cheesy Ground Beef Skillet (seen above) and the desserts are also to die for! I love that I can enjoy dome of my favorite fruits like cherries and berries as a bedtime snack.
